To Exercise or Not to Exercise – Do you need further convincing?
Everyone knows that exercise helps control weight, but what people don’t know is how big the impact of small changes can be when it comes to physical activity and health. The higher the intensity of exercise, the more calories you will burn. However, making simple changes such as taking the stairs will add up.
Exercise has been shown again and again to protect against heart disease, type 2 diabetes, certain cancers, combat arthritis, and a number of other conditions.
In a bad mood? Exercise releases endorphins, a cue in the brain that triggers happy emotions. Just 30 minutes of moderate activity can significantly elevate your mood.
Regular exercise will increase your endurance and make every day activities easier by giving you more energy. Start slow and build your way up. Remember that something small is better than nothing! The greatest thing about physical activity – it can be done anywhere!
