Vitamin D Sources – Do you have enough?
Now that it’s getting colder, most of us will be bundled up or staying inside during the day. Since we’re not exposing ourselves to as much sunlight, it’s important to get an adequate supply of vitamin D from our diet! Try to add food products into your diet fortified with vitamin D, such as skim milk and low-fat yogurt, or cold-water fish, such as salmon. If you are not eating enough vitamin D, talk to your local nutritionist about taking a dietary supplement.
