For some people, maintaining weight is more difficult than losing weight. Furthermore, it can be difficult to gain weight while avoiding potential increases in long-term side effects (i.e. cardiovascular disease). If you are considering a high calorie diet, consider some of these general tips.
1) Eat at least six times per day. 2) Include high calorie snacks such as mixed nuts to your diet. 3) Focus on lean protein and foods with a higher percentage of unsaturated fats such as vegetable oil (preferably olive oil), avocado and peanut butter.
